About
The history of me and where I’m going (hopefully) in the future in a brief few paragraphs.
Grew up in central Indiana as a quite kid that did the normal stuff…soccer, swimming, but really enjoyed and picked up on road cycling and mountain biking. Graduated from Noblesville High School and followed my parents to South Carolina for a military transfer at Fort Jackson (father was a colonel in the Marines and was the guy who taught drill sergeants to be…mean drill sergeants!) where I finished up my degree at the University of South Carolina.
South Carolina was definitely a place I would never have guessed going to live, but school was great, did some awesome mountain biking and helped start the first USC cycling team. I finished school in ’98 with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Advertising. After a short stint in Atlanta after school, I landed back in Indiana working as a photographer for The Finish Line helping setup their first e-commerce site and doing all the product photography. Next was a stint at Rego-Fix Tool Corp as a marketing coordinator and then going back to school at Purdue University for photography and design.
During school is when the entrepreneur bug was starting to bite and I started to write the business plan for the business that was eventually called Wipe Your Pawz!. The essence of WYP was a boutique pet supply store with a self-serve pet wash and a photography studio. WYP ran from 2005 and eventually included a pet bakery and a separate photo studio. Unfortunately I had to close the store due to the very harsh economy in 2009 and began On Your Time Marketing…a small business marketing and design company. I still am very active in photography and small business which is why I created this website.
Goals: Write a book, ride my bicycle across country, go camping more, start a non-profit, raise a healthy son and keep my wife happy
just to name a few.
